I worked with this stock before and noticed your outcome of the image looks dramatically better than the original and I couldn't resist asking, what techniques did you use?
I think the effect that lends the most to any improvement is that I changed it from day to night. It obscures a lot of imperfections, especially jpeg artifacts. Adding the sky and moon were definitely character boosters, too. I think of it as being kinda like how a small but conspicuous mole 'Shopped onto a girl's face makes a big difference.
hey there i have been trying to fine a nice brush or something that looks just like the light from top window. is that a brush, and where might i be able to find it?
It's just some radial blurs applied to noisy textures and what not. If you do a search on here for 'light ray' or 'lens flare' you can probably find something very similar.
