My fan-made background for @pethobbyist. They've been around since about 1997. I've been an avid reader ever since, and they once hosted my site Under the Leaves: Complete Anole Care for free under their Kingsnake sister site.
Ah I think you should find another way to hide the content. It's actually better to make some sample Lorem ipsum content. This tends to take my eye away from the design, and I can't concentrate. Nice stuff with the background though.
It wouldn't hurt. I guess making a test profile and wasting database space just to put up 50 placeholder tweets just didn't appeal to me. Recreating it all in 'Shop from scratch even less so.
Well I don't know. I think you should take the time to do it once, since I see that you're doing many of these backgrounds for Twitter and for all I know good previews matter.
Like I said, it wouldn't hurt. But the overall difference it would make is honestly cosmetic. I don't think the overall impact it'll have on serving as an example of how the bg looks would be significantly different enough to warrant it. One can do it if s/he wants, but it's not ending the world either way. I can be semi-anal about preview details sometimes, but in the case of twitter bg's this is fine.
